Innisfree Long Wear Cushion #23 True Beige

Innisfree Long Wear Cushion | #23 True Beige
SPF 50+ PA+++
Shades Available: 3
Price: $22.70
15g
(front packaging)

Hi everyone!

I will be reviewing Innisfree's Long Wear Cushion. Innisfree is most likely my favorite makeup brand, just because overall, to me, the quality of their products is great.

(This is the review of the old Innisfree Long Wear Cushion. I did order the new one and will be reviewing it as soon as I finish this one.)

On their website it says it's a long wear cushion formulated to keep your skin looking bright and smooth all day while fighting against sweat and sebum. It leaves your skin feeling smooth, refreshed and soft with an even skin tone that calms pores and bumps.

I love the packaging of this cushion, but overall I just love the simple packaging of Innisfree's products. I especially like how they made the Long Wear Cushion on the front in pink. It adds a nice touch.

(front)

I got mine in the darkest shade, no. 23 True Beige. There is a scent to it I can't really explain, it's almost minty? ( I'm really bad at explaining scents ) It doesn't bother me, but it does eventually go away if you were wondering. This was a half shade light, but that's usually a problem for me with Korean foundations. It's not drastically noticeable, but I thought I'd just inform.

The puff is the same as all of the other Innisfree cushion puffs, which I really love by the way. It blends the product very easily. The finish of the cushion is matte, which is (also) fine with me. If you can't tell already, I'm not that picky about my foundations. I usually just grab whatever I'm in the mood for if it cooperates well with my skin. I don't really mind whether if my foundation it's matte or dewy, as long as it's not over the top. like super matte where I'd look flat, or too dewy where I'd look like a grease-ball.

Since I'm on a topical acne treatment, my skin is quite dry these days, as well as super oily (from it being so dry). So if you have dry patches, I'd exfoliate and moisturize really well before applying this. I'm pretty sure this cushion is mostly for oily skin types, but if you are interested in it, I'd say try it out, or if anything try the Water Glow Cushion. Which I will be reviewing soon as well.

(cushion itself)

This product lasts on my skin for most of the day. I have to bring oil blotting sheets and use them every once in a while since my skin is so oily.

(swatch on my wrist, daylight)
As you can see it is a little brighter than the color on my wrist, but it's not too noticeable on my face. I'm trying to use this as much as I can so I can finally try out the new 2015 version. ( the review of that will be up as soon as possible.)

Overall, I hope you enjoyed this review, there will be many more to come. Feel free to ask anything in the comments, or if you would like me to review a certain product, I will try my best as to do so.

Etude House Dear My Blooming Lips-Talk PK004

Etude House Dear My Blooming Lips-Talk | PK004 Stunning Pink
Shades Available: 24
Price: $7.46
3.4g (Net Wt, 0.11 oz / 3.4 g)

(packaging)

Hello everyone!

This is my review on Etude House's Dear My Blooming Lips-Talk lipstick in PK004, Stunning Pink.

The packaging of this product is similar to the Color Pop series, only it's pink with a shiny darker pink (purple?) bow near the bottom. It also has a design at the top of the packaging.

(PK004)

This lipstick, like the Color Pop one I have, is expired. But since this one expired last October, the quality of the product hasn't declined. ( or at least I haven't noticed anything) The texture is very smooth and light. I really like the color. I'm usually very hesitant to buy brighter colored lipsticks online, just because in fear it won't look right with my complexion. However this one was very flattering, in my opinion. It lasted most of the day, but mostly got wiped away when I went out to eat later on for lunch.

(close up)

It does leave a faint stain when it rubs off, which I like. And it is also visibly glossy(–ish). You can build up the color as well. The product itself is slightly moisturizing, and didn't really accentuate the dry patches on my lips....which I appreciated.

(swatch on wrist~ daylight)

(swatch on lips)

I did actually decide to do a swatch on my lips. (ignore my peach fuzz/blonde hairs as well as my dry lip flake, I tried my best to not make it that noticeable.)
On the gradient lip, the color did lighten up a bit, due to the concealer, but it's not that big of a difference, at least in my opinion.

If you couldn't tell I like this lipstick way more than the Color Pop collection one. But anyways,
I hope you liked the review, this is one of my all time go-to lipsticks at the moment besides the new Clio ones. (which I do have a review on)

Innisfree Glow Liquid Shadow #3

Innisfree Glow Liquid Shadow | #3
Shades Available: 5
Price: $9.98
4g

(front)

Hi everyone!

How has your summer been? As it is coming to an end, I've realized how much I've been slacking off on reviewing. So I'll be posting a bunch of summer products I forgot to publish. (sorry /.\) But never-the-less, the beautiful fall is approaching, which not only means new collections, but an entire new color scheme. From the neon lipsticks, to the bold dark lips. I'm so excited as to see what this fall will bring us, collection wise. I've already seen a couple that've caught my eye, so I will try to get my hands on the products.
Anyways:

Today I'll be reviewing Innisfree's Glow Liquid Shadow in the 3rd shade.

On my most recent haul, I mentioned this product. I'm very excited to share this review with you all.

(back)

(bottom)

This product didn't come with a box packaging, but was sealed just as shown in the picture above, which I didn't really mind. This is one of Innisfree's newest products in their Summer 2015 collection. There is also new eyeliners, nail polishes, and a new version of their Long Wear Cushion. (Which I will be reviewing ASAP)

The applicator is flat which makes it easy to apply. The product itself is very lightweight (not heavy on your eyes at all) and very sparkly. It is patchy on the first coat when I put it all over my lid, so I added a second and it turned out very nice and opaque. (very build-able) Unfortunately it is not waterproof, which I think is kind of ironic since it's from a summer collection. But I bet there are some alternatives to make it waterproof. I'll have to try some out and add an update.

(swatch on wrist)

Here is a swatch of it on my wrist, one with flash and one without. I'm not that great at explaining colors so the best I can give you guys is a blueish-green? Under flash it looks even more beautiful.
When I first used this, it was just so foreign to me because the closest consistency to a liquid shadow I've used, was a cream one. However, practice makes perfect, I can now apply it more easily. Don't be afraid if the first coat looks light and patchy, because just as I said above, just wait for it to dry and go over it a second time and it will me 100% more opaque and shinier. Under the flash it looks almost like a pale silvery blue? I'm horrible at describing colors so I apologize.

It doesn't make my eye feel tight or sticky at all. I was worried about that, but while its drying, try not to move your eye around that much. It's just like applying liquid liner, only all over your eyelid. (.?) However since this isn't waterproof, and during the day if you feel it's starting to get sticky or starts to smudge. I'd bring a translucent setting powder or an oil absorbing powder around with you so you can blot over top of the eyeshadow as well as on wherever your skin gets oily.

I hope you liked my review on this product. If you have any questions or want me to review anything feel free to comment it below and I will answer as soon as I can. If you haven't seen my haul where this product is first mentioned here it is.

Etude House Fantastic Color Eyes Cherry Blossom

Etude House Fantastic Color Eyes | Cherry Blossom
Shades Available: 2 different palettes
Price: $14.90
0.02 oz, x 6 / 0.7 g x 6

(front)

Hello everyone!

I'll be reviewing Etude House's Fantastic Color Eyes in Cherry Blossom.

There are 6 eyeshadow colors in this palette:

(left to right: Cherry Coke, Cherry March, Baby Peony, Hello Spring, Floral Walk, & Warm Morning)
All of these colors are beautiful. You can create so many different looks with these eye shadows. My favorite eyeshadow out of this entire palette is Warm Morning, I just love the way it looks on my skintone
. All of these shadows are very light and easy to blend. They also last for a while too. I have to use a primer though, since I have oily eyelids, but even when I forget to put one on it lasts for a reasonable amount of time. All of the eye shadows are highly pigmented. All of the swatches below were all with one swipe.

It's also very travel friendly. The palette itself isn't really that big, in fact it was way smaller than what I expected it to be. I like to keep the plastic covering over the eye shadows whenever I bring it around just so it doesn't get damaged.

Overall I really do like this palette. It's my first palette from Etude House, and hopefully as you can see with this post, I really so enjoy it. I also hope to purchase the Rose Garden version before it is sold out!

Etude House Color Pop Dear My Lips-Talk

Etude House Color Pop Dear My Lips Talk | OR220
Shades Available: 10
Price: $8.29
3.4g

Hi everyone!

Long time, no see. Sorry for not updating lately, I've been pretty busy preparing for my vacation this Saturday. Today I decided to switch it up and do a review on an Etude House product. But anyway, this is a review on Etude House's Color Pop Dear My Lips Talk in OR220.

(OR220)

The packaging of this product is really cute, like all Etude House products. The the lipstick cap has tiny sparkly particles that reflect in the light. The orange bow also is a nice touch and adds a pop of color to the packaging.

I was really excited to test this out when I bought this. Mostly because I love Etude House's lipsticks. As well as because I was curious at what the color would look like since this is my first orange lipstick from their brand. Since this is an older collection, the reviews of this product are a little rare, at least from what I've seen so far. Plus if you look at the pictures that Etude House posted for this, the lipstick swatches look highly saturated and edited. Once again since this collection is older, it was no surprise that there barely any colors left. If I remember I think there were only about 2 other colors left.

(packaging)

This lipstick I'm pretty sure is most likely expired, so unfortunately I don't use it that much. But since it expired I'm guessing why the quality of the product isn't as good. It's not that bad, don't get me wrong, but on the box it says it has a 'moist shine' sorry if you hate that word  in which for me it isn't as noticeable. However, the texture of the product is very smooth, and the color is just as vibrant as it looks in the tube.

(design)

It easily transferred onto everything, so be careful. I accidentally brushed my lip and then saw that my finger was covered in lipstick. (.___. )  Also, I always seem to have a split lip, and this lipstick slightly covered it as well as my lip scars. I do wish that there was more product in the tube, I had no idea that the lipstick would be this tiny. It is about 3 1/2 inches (estimate). So I mean at least it's travel friendly?

On the other hand it did start to fade after I ate about an hour into wearing the lipstick, so I'd have to bring it with me for touch ups. I also noticed that after a while it settled into the  cracks of my lips. All in all this lipstick was just too much work for me so I took it off around the 2hr mark. (to be exact 2 hrs and 8 minutes)

(up close and personal with the lipstick)

In the pictures it looks almost reddish in the tube, but when you swatch it, its almost like MAC's Morange, only slightly darker. Below I put a swatch on my wrist as well as on my lips. I added concealer and a lip gloss to make it a gradient lip. ignore my weird blonde hairs please... I should just wax those.   I would've done a full lip, but although lipsticks are my favorite type of makeup, and due to the fact that my lips are awkwardly uneven, they just look horribly messy on me. Unless it's a MLBB (my lip but better) shade. So yes don't feel bad if your lip makeup looks bad because its most likely 100x better than what mine will ever look like.

(a swatch on my wrist)

(swatch on lips <gradient>)

So this wasn't my absolute favorite Etude House lipstick, but I will continue to wear it just to use it up. (I don't want it to go to waste) I hope you liked this review, I know this is an old product but I was just curious to test it out. Feel free to come back and see more of my reviews!

Clio Virgin Kiss Tension Lipstick ( #'s 9-12 )

Clio Virgin Kiss Tension Lipstick #'s 9-12
Shades Available: 16
Price: $16.36
3.5g

(front packaging)
Hi everyone!

I'm back with another product from Clio Professional. Lately I've been loving these lipsticks, so here is my review on them!

I bought these from Clio Professionals website, which you can see a haul of all the products I bought right here.

From Clio's website it says this lipstick 'takes care of it all'. As it has a highly pigmented and fade resistant formula as well forms a semi-matte film that moves with your lips, and also makes them smooth and plump.

As you can see on the picture above, the words Tension Lip change for every color of the collection. I bought colors 9-12. I recently finished the drama, The Producers, in which the main lead actress, Gong Hyo Jin, is advertising this brand. She wore these lipsticks in that drama, as well as some of the other things I bought, and I thought they looked so pretty on her, l so I decided to pick them up as well.

(tops of the packaging)

(sides of the packaging)

I absolutely love the packaging of this product. The red writing makes a nice contract against the all black packaging.

(front of the lipstick)

(top of the lipstick)

(bottoms of the lipsticks)

(Gong Hyo Jin's name on packaging)

When I first opened the lipstick I just had to take a picture of Gong Hyo Jin's name on the inside. I think it looked cool, I don't know why. Maybe it's because the lipsticks, or at least the ones I have, usually don't have any designs on that part of the packaging.

(lipstick untouched)

Here is what the lipstick looked like before I swatched it on my arm. The bullet of the lipstick is very simple, however I've never seen this style before, but I liked the way it applied easily on my cupids bow.

(swatched)

I swatched all 4 on my wrist, and here's what they looked like. As you can see from Pinkvely, I had no idea they'd be so pigmented with just one swipe, or that they would be so smooth and buttery. They melt into your lips. These lipsticks also last for a while and leave a pretty stain behind.
I did actually take pictures of these lipsticks on my lips, but I wasn't sure if I wanted to upload them or not, so if anyone wants to see swatches of the lipsticks on my lips (because I know it can look different then what it looks like on your arm) then let me know. Also if you guys want me to do lip swatches, or swatches on my face in general let me know as well.

Overall, I really love these lipsticks. Lately whenever I go out I seem to be grabbing these the most. They're travel friendly, they barely take up any space in my purse. The texture of them is really nice and smooth, and the formula didn't dry out my lips. I highly recommend these lipsticks, and am hoping to extend my collection of them.

Update (1/7/16): If you are OCD like me and like to match up the wording on the lipstick cap to the tube, then be careful not to twist it into place. As while you're twisting it, you're twisting the lipstick up as well, which dented the top of two lipsticks for me!

Hope you enjoyed this review! Don't forget to leave any questions etc. in the comments if you want, I'll answer them. Also make sure to come back again to see the rest of my reviews from my Clio haul! ( Plus more :) )

Ebay Cosmetic Haul #1

Hi everyone!

I ordered some new products on eBay a while back and they just came in, so I'm going to do a quick haul.

(the products I ordered)

I ordered these on June 26th and they just came in today. I honestly don't mind about the shipping, one because it was free, and two because as long as I get them by the last day they say it should come in I don't really care.

(everything that came in the box)

I ordered from one of my most trusted sellers, and bought a total of 9 products. The reviews for them will be up eventually.

(samples/freebies)

In addition to my products I also received 10 samples/freebies. Which included a sheet mask, an Italy Towel, sunscreen, peeling gel, serum, BB cream, blotting sheets, nose pack, and a sleeping back. I really love how they give you a lot of samples. Well in general I just love freebies, because.. well they're free, and because they give you a chance to try out a product you might like.

(bubble wrapped)

(all of the things I bought)

Here are the things that I bought. I already have some of the Innisfree Creammellow Lipsticks, but I loved them so much, that I had to buy a few more. I also bought another Creamy Tint Lip Mousse by Innisfree in the shade 4, Romance of Spring Peach. As well as Innisfree's Glow Liquid Shadow in number 3, 태양아래 쪽빛바다 (Indigo under the sun on the sea?). As well as Innisfree's new Long Wear Cushion in the shade 23, True Beige. Also two Aritaum lip products, their Style Pop Water Tint in Red Mango, and their Color Lasting Tint in number 12, Cherry Ade.

I can't wait to review these products, from the swatches I already took when I first took them out were great. I will make sure to let you guys know when I will upload a review on one of these products. Also make sure to come back and visit to see more reviews, as I still have to upload the rest of the Clio Professional ones!

Clio Professional Kill Cover Liquid Founwear Cushion 4-BO Ginger Review

Clio Professional Kill Cover Liquid Founder Cushion | 4-BO Ginger
SPF50+ PA+++
Shades Available: 4
Price: $29.09
15g

(front part of the cushion)

Hi everyone!

If you saw my haul you would've seen I recently bought a lot of things from Clio Professional, this product being one of them. So lets get right to the review!

On Clio's website it says this cushion has triple action- whitening, wrinkle improvement, and UV protection. It gives flawless skin with ultimate coverage, long lasting formula with 33% moisture charged texture, a high adhesion for tightening pores, as well as a velvet glow coverage with a semi matte finish. It is also clinically proven 24 hour coverage with perfect adhesion without lumping even after multiple applications.
It also contains 8 secret ingredients for moisturize skin:
Sparkling Water: skin purification, pore, elasticity, and sebum control and moisturization effect.
Honey: antioxidant, enhanced elasticity, skin barrier improvement, moisturization and nourishing effect.
Fermented Yeast: whitening, enhances complexion, nourishing, moisturization, improves skin barrier.
Pearl: nourishing, skin tone enhancement, whitening, skin barrier improvement.
Madonna Lily: provides minerals, removes skin waste, moisturization.
tomato: antioxidant, nourishing, revitalization, removes dead skin cells.
Apple Blossom: enhances skin elasticity and transparency, removes dead skin cells, improves radiant skin.
Roobios: nourishing, moisturization, skin purification.

When I bought this i got it for a set, (2 cushions and 2 refills) so that is what the picture is below. The top two are the cushions and the bottom two are the refills. I got mine in the shade 4-BO Ginger. There are 4 shades total, 2 for cool undertones, and 2 for warm undertones.

(cushion & refills)

(top of the box)

(back and bottom of the box)

(left and right side of the box)

When you open the cushion, there's the top section where the puff sits, and then the part underneath where the cushion is. When you first open the cushion compartment there's a little film that you take off before using. Mine was a little crinkled up but it's okay. There's also another film over the mirror. Since the only other cushions I have are by Innisfree, it's nice to see different packaging. For some reason i really like the little divider that separates the puff from the cushion. I really love the way it looks, and puff itself is really nice as well, i like its simplicity.

The cushion is well soaked in the foundation. I tested it by poking it with a spatula. For some reason I cringed during this, I really don't like pressing things into my products, but it's okay, I'll get over it soon. The coverage is also very good, however the formula of the foundation isn't that moisturizing. Also, the color was good for my skin tone, I was worried it'd be too light. It lasted around 4/5 hours without a touch up which is really good for me. However since my skin is really oily I have to blot every once in a while, however with this product I only had to blot once throughout that entire period of wearing it, which I am really happy about. While testing this product I also tested out Clio's Artist Mist so that review will be up after this one has been up for a little bit.

(swatch blended)

I did notice that it did crease under my eyes at first, but then again my eye area is super oily, but in the picture above you can see it kind of settles in the cracks in my wrist. Also around the end of the day it did look a little patchy. But that was most likely because I didn't touch it up throughout the day just to test how well it would last.

Overall I liked this cushion. It wasn't one of the best ones I've tried but it definitely made it onto my favorites list.
